Designer of the Day
Donatella Versace: Known to the world as the fashion queen she was born in Italy with 2 fashion icons to inspire her. The name Versace was introduced to the world through her brothers work. Here is where she got to see how the fashion industry first hand by assisting her brother in his business. After Gianni's death to cancer in 1997 Donatella became Versace's new creative designer. Bringing a rock and roll edge to the company under her watch Versace moved beyond clothing to include accessories, home furnishings, and hotels, morphing Versace into a complete lifestyle brand.

She seems like a very interesting character! It would be awesome to see some of design work because it sounds like she has a very unique take on clothing. I also think it is very interesting that she designs other aspects than just assessories.
